Meet Ms. Kate Jellick
New Spanish Teacher Fills in for Ms. Londo

Ms. Jellick is not having a hard time adjusting to her new role as a long-term sub in the World Language Department. She is filling in for Ms. Londo who is on maternity leave. A Maryland native, Ms. Jellick has been teaching for six years in many different parts of the United States. She taught at St. Mark’s High School and then taught at Santa Catalina, an all girls boarding school in Monterey California. Ms. Jellick is looking forward to getting back in the classroom and looking forward to having teaching a foreign language.
PG. Where did you go to college?
KJ. I went to Loyola College in Baltimore Maryland.
PG. What drew you to Salesianum?
KJ. I have 5 kids and so I have more recently been home raising my kids, so I was excited to get back into teaching and this sub opportunity came up and it seemed like the right time and the right thing for me to do at the moment.
PG. Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks?
KJ. Starbucks
PG. What is your favorite genre of music?
KJ. I like foreign music, anything foreign, French or Spanish.
