31 New Shows Sets to be Released in Coming Years

The unveiling of Disney’s streaming platform, Disney Plus, came with much anticipation.  Not just for the content that would be found on day one, but anticipation for the platform’s future content.

Wars Universe to new heights.  With the new year beginning, there comes a plethora of new and exciting shows to be released with Disney unveiling many of these titles in December 2020.  

To kick off 2021, Disney will release three new Marvel TV series chronicling the side adventures of characters introduced in the movies.  In January, Wandavision will be released,  March will bring the release of  Falcon and Winter Soldier, and in May, the Loki series will hit the streaming platform.  Along with these titles came the announcement of live action remakes of both Peter Pan and Pinnochio set to release exclusively on Disney Plus.  

However, the most celebrated of the announcements was the Obi-Wan Kenobi series starring Ewan Mcregor.  The possibility of an Obi-Wan spin off has been rumored for years, finally coming to fruition with filming set to begin in March of this year.  Hayden Christianson, who played Anakin Skywalker in the prequels, is set to reprise his role as well.  

With all the releases set for this year, Disney continues to revolutionize the entertainment industry and has given its numerous fan bases much to be excited about. The question is, what show or movie are you most excited for?
