Do you enjoy reading Shakespeare? Probably not, but you’ll love Salesianum Theater’s production of Shakespeare’s comedy, Love’s Labour’s Lost! The story takes place in a typical 1980s high school movie, ranging from The Breakfast Club to Back to the Future. Each character is inspired by a specific character from the 80s like Ferris Buller, Marty McFly, or Jeff Spicoli. The story begins with a prince, or king of the school, making a deal with his boys about staying away from girls. To make the deal even sweeter, a princess and her friends show up and start some trouble. The boys try their hardest to fight the urge of simply talking to these girls. The show is littered with funny, colorful characters that will surely make you laugh, cry, and everything in between. Do the boys succeed in staying away from the girls? Come see our show and find out on November 3, 4, and 5!
