Last week, the Salesianum Basketball team tipped-off their 2019-20 season. After making it to the DIAA playoffs in their previous campaign, the Sals look to push further to the Finals this season. Although the first two games of the season ended in bitter defeats to William Penn and Appoquinimink, the Sals bounced back with a big win against Howard Tech Thursday night 61-52. Junior guards Ethan Hinds and Rasheen Caulk led the team in scoring, as they both scored 20 points. Pat Methlie and Tommy Montooth also did work on the interior, with both players scoring 8 points. With their record now at 1-2, the Sals will look to continue their winning ways against Bonner and Prendergast (PA) on Saturday.
