New Wave of Coronavirus Washes Over Italy

When Coronavirus struck Italy, nobody foresaw how extreme the spread would be. Shortly after hitting Italy’s Northern Province of Veneto on February 22nd, 2020, a 77 year old man in Monselice was Italy’s first death due to the disease. Now, as of March 10, the death toll has rapidly risen to 366 and over 9,000 are infected, and the country is currently the worst case of the disease in the world.
