Hispanic Heritage Fiesta and Soccer Tailgate

Hispanic Heritage Fiesta and Soccer Tailgate

Alexander McCrystal

On the night of Wednesday, September 21, Salesianum held some fun school events, which turned out to be a fun night to remember for many. The night kicked off with the Hermanos Unidos Fiesta Tailgate, which included free tacos, ice cream, music, dance, spikeball, cornhole, ping pong, can jam, and many other fun challenges. Many students would agree that the highlights included the great food, fun games, and especially the challenges, which included a limbo contest and a dancing contest.

Following the fiesta, the Salesianum varsity soccer team hosted St. Augustine Prep and came out with a big 2-0 victory. Salesianum convincingly defeated St. Augustine 2-0, and the team looks to get back on track after a tough loss to Appoquinimink. It was a great way to spend a Wednesday night with the brothers and sisters of the Salesianum family. The community can and should look forward to more fun events soon.
