In celebration of Spirit Week, we’re publishing our first puzzle of 2023. This puzzle was loosely inspired by the Oscar nominations announced this week. It should be fairly accessible to new solvers. (We apologize for 17-Across–it’s ‘crosswordese’ we try to avoid, but sometimes you can’t. Hopefully it’s gettable with the crossings!)
