This week’s teacher feature is a brand new teacher to Salesianum, and a graduate of the class of 2003. Mr. Lord, or Coach Lord as many call him, went to Salesianum, starting in 1999 he graduated in 2003.
During his time at Salesianum Mr. Lord took part in Intramural Football, and ran for our cross country and track team. Bring home 3 state championships, earning himself All-State, and All-County honors in both track and field and cross country, further more Mr. Lord was the N5CTA Runner of the year for Cross Country in his Junior year. After his time here at Salesianum, Mr. Lord studied at the University of Delaware and obtained his Criminal Justice and Psychology Degree. After graduation from the University of Delaware Mr. Lord started his teaching career at McVey Elementary School in Newark Delaware.

Before he started teaching he worked as an insurance agent where he worked as a customer service rep, office and sales manager and eventually owner
Mr. Lord remarked that his favorite memory from Salesianum was working out with the boys after school, during cross country. Mr. Lord is most excited to be teaching at his alma mater, and looks forward to reconnecting, and building connections and relationships with the teachers and students around him.
