Salesianum Swimming Makes A Real Splash as New State Champions

On Saturday afternoon, the Salesianum Swim Team won their 4th State Championship in a row. The meet took place at the University of Delaware pool. Salesianum swimmers did well at the preliminary meet three days before, so there were already high expectations for the team to do well. Alek Elder, Tommy Janton, Justin Fitzpatrick, Joey Dickson, and Ryan Kelly were just a few of the major point scorers from the meet. The final score of the meet had first place Salesianum with 434 points, second place Charter School of Wilmington with 360.5 points, and third place Tower Hill with 150 points. After the two and a half hour long meet, the team celebrated their victory with lunch at Grotto’s Pizza. Great job to all the swimmers!
